Description of the item

This is a lovely French-made mantel or table clock. The design is a much smaller take on a Regency 'Library' clock and is to my eyes, very attractive. Rosewood veneered case with an enamelled dial behind a gilded engraved mask. Signed for the retailer, Thomas Armstrong or Manchester.
Quality weekly-wind pendulum movement (most mantel clocks of this size have platforms rather than pendulums and sound more like a ticking watch).
16.4cm tall, 7.8cm deep, 12.2cm wide
(Notes: These clocks have 3 feet, 2 at the front 1 in the rear centre. The movement will be freshly serviced before delivery).
