Large Dial Clocks awaiting restoration
(14", 16" and 18" dials)

We own the following clocks which are awaiting or undergoing restoration. Expressions of interest can greatly influence the order in which we restore them.
Getting in-touch now allows you to:
- request any simple photos (snaps) we may have
- request the 'first look' when complete
- buy them now, unrestored
- pay a deposit now ahead of agreed price restoration
Please don't simply wait for a particular one to be finished without getting in touch. We've been more or less working to order for the last 2 years so some of these may stay here 'for ever' without an expression of interest.
18" dial Factory Clock
AWAITING RESTORATION
Huge factory dial clock (24" overall) made by W&H of Germany for the UK market c1890. Out of a Wool Mill in Keighley Yorkshire. Needs quite a lot of work but 100% original, even down to the suspension feather. Should be a nice deep oak finish and bright brass bezel on completion. Dials clocks with 18" dials are very rare. Approx £1750 fully prepared.

Replica Sector Clock
NEARLY COMPLETE
This is an excellent value REPLICA of these very popular Sector clocks, (the original's are now being offered for £8000!). Although a replica, it is based on a genuine wartime RAF 'white-dial' clock whose dial required a full repaint (all photo evidence available). Correct cast bezel etc. Rather than do a full repaint it as a white dial, so we decided to make this replica and sell it 'honestly' (unlike many of the alleged 'genuine' clocks for sale). The dial will be expertly painted with the correct sector details and colours. The chain driven fusee movement will be fully serviced, so the finished price will be around £1750 which is a small premium over a cilivian clock. The photo is not the actual clock - our dial is awaiting restoration. (The last two we've done have sold before making the main website pages, so get in touch early if you are interested).

16" dial Ebonised clock from a Chesterfield Church School
AWAITING RESTORATION
A totally original large dial clock c1900. The clock bears a silver plaque (could be easily re-sited) showing the clock was dedicated in memory of a teacher who died in 1901. This is totally original, down to the key, even the suspension 'feather' on the pendulum. We understand the clock hung in one place ALL of its life.

A totally original large dial clock c1930. Very interesting dial design (untouched). 16" dial 'Double Dial' Clock
AWAITING RESTORATION
Something quite special. A double dial clock with huge 16" dials and made in the best materials. Many of these rare clocks were made in oak, and/or fitted spun bezels, with regular 12" dials. This 'beast' is made of excellent quality mahogany, has cast bezels and huge 16" dials. We are struggling to establish who F Murfin of Burton on Trent was, but the reasearch is ongoing.
