12" Dial Clocks in awaiting restoration

We own the following clocks which are either just awaiting photography or, more likely, awaiting or undergoing restoration. Expressions of interest can greatly influence the order in which we restore them.
Getting in-touch now allows you to:
- request any simple photos (snaps) we may have
- request the 'first look' when complete
- buy them now, unrestored
- pay a deposit now ahead of agreed price restoration
Please don't simply wait for a particular one to be finished without getting in touch. We've been more or less working to order for the last 2 years so some of these may stay here 'for ever' without an expression of interest.

Edward VIII SM&C

Very rare to find any Government items carrying the Cypher for Edward VIII as he was only on the throne for 326 days. Although quite battered, the dial, case and movement all carry proof of it being produced in this short period. It was also made by Stockall Marples & Co who only made the best quality items. It will restore well in time, but will carry a premium over the normal GviR examples etc.

Tameside (Hirst Brothers Oldham)

Nice fusee wall clock c1940. Bought for research as it is such a nice cared for example. These were built to a budget vs. many fusee wall clocks, but give great service. This is a lovely example. Attractive wall clock c1920. Claims to be made in England but resembles an American made clock. It may be by Duval (research continuing). Genuine RAF Wall Clock

Made by Smiths during WWII for the RAF. Original (if worn) example of these interesting clocks that were made of 'whatever was available' during the war. This one has a surround made of pine which was stained to look like oak. The dial is worn but can be restored maintaining the original blackwork for the RAF logo and numerals. This example dated to 1943 or 1945 (hard to read the stamp). Less than £1000 fully prepared.
